Chee Kam excited by new direction

Wed 26th April, 05:09PM

Having signed a new deal himself earlier in the year, Michael Chee Kam is excited by the new direction at Wests Tigers under Head Coach Ivan Cleary.

With Luke Brooks, David Nofoaluma, Ben Matulino and Chris McQueen all committing to the Club in the past month, Chee Kam says it's an exciting time for Wests Tigers fans.

“They’re great players," Chee Kam said.

"Ben signed last night which is a really good sign for the club.

"The front office knows what they’re doing, we’re pretty excited about that.

“Those type of players, you’d rather them be on your team than against them, so it will be pretty good to have on the team. It's definitely exciting for all of us here."

This is the news that we need out there and not losing players!!!
I feel the media have to start backing off now with the new direction we are going.

I for one and stoked and for the first time in 10years feel we are heading in the right direct.

I'm on the BUS

Its hard not to be excited.. i love the attitude of Chee Kam and Nofo, so good for the club

Haven't been this excited about things around wt in some time. Good to see MCK stoked with the new arrivals. I'm definitely on the bus!

MCK has picked up his form in the last month too, coincidence, I think not, Cleary actually is giving him a fair go, something he never got last year.

If Chee-Kam can put on an extra 7kgs in the off season, hit 110kgs would be an absolute ripper in the backrow.
