GNR I don't know if you remember but the WWF went threw a huge case which revolved around steroid use in the early 90's which really shook the company up and then WCW started just as it looked as they were going to reach the heights again of the early to mid eighties .

I would say that there are WWE stars that still take steroids but just as many have alcohol issues ,drug issues etc

Look at Jake the snake Roberts etc
