There is a rumour on LU that heighington could be going to the raiders next year. Apparently he has already toured their facilities. LU isnt the most reliable place though.

Here we go….....

Before the flotsam and jetsom start on him,he is signed for two more years and loves the tigers, even though some "so called fans" on here give it to him.

Which IMO is most unreasonable as he is a gun.

Sorry Sabre but who is LU…?

Even if he does go we do have the second rowers and locks coming through... i.e Hyland and the Schirnacks and Dwyer.

Firstly LU equals League Unlimited, and secondly we have blokes but the arent as good as the Rhino, you watch him go with a killer pack and injury free next year,on the edges where he should be,he is gonna kill it.

PS…..watch him in 05 when he played out wide,he was awesome.

a lot of people on here dont seem to realise when you play with injury your form can easily drop like to see
some of you critics of rhino to do your job with a serious leg injury if you turn up at all.Rhino this year injury free will push for a rep jersey again.

Simon, i know u refer to me, and just because i dont think a certain players style suits us doesnt make me less of a fan. Ive never questioned Heighno as a first grader, just put forward an opinion that we have better options that suit Benji and Robbie. If that makes me less of a supporter than i guess we all at times are'nt we?

On the rumour, i find it hard to believe.

I just spoke to my brother inlaw who is a mad raiders fan & he told me about this rumour as well
He said it's in their forum (the green room) & says something along the lines of him having a falling out with someone within the club about his move to the central coast bears.

In saying this i don't believe it for one moment,i doubt the club would grant him a release & they would be crazy too

the time his contract with Tigers is done, he might as well go to the bears. he will be at the end of his carrerr

Mate….....I'm not having a go at ur love for our team,I just reckon its weak to be towelling a bloke up on a website who busts his arse for us week in an out.

He had a very ordinary 09,as did one or two other big names(Payten,Lawrence). He was clearly carrying injuries,so youve gottta give him a break as the previous year he was arguably our best.
Having said that, its not a good look for him having just signed a 3 yr contract to publicly espouse his loyalty to the Central Coast Bears..unless they wish to pick up part of his salary the next two years???(yeah, rite)
Keep it to yourself Heigno

U used the words "so-called supporters", so u are questioning my love for the team.

Mate, i never bag Heighno as an individual or as a person, in fact ive praised him. I take the point from u and Geo that i need to let up on him, and im taking that on baord, i really hope he makes me look like a fool next year. I think the main reason i jump on him is because i see him as one of those untouchables who will never be dropped no matter what and that gets under my skin.

Hopefully he'll be fully fit next year and relish the role of 13.

I was actually being tongue in cheek quoting Sheensi with the "so called fans line",but Many fans on this forum are so fickle when it comes to the players in the team, its a little disturbing.

All my tiger buds love the Rhino and cant believe such a whole hearted player that loves the club cops flak.I agree.

Maybe you should just stick to whats posted in a thread simon, leave your crusade be for once.
I cant see any fickle posts here…just people putting forth their very realistic thoughts.

The who? Last time I checked there was no Central Coast team in the NRL nor any sign there will be… You'd think the Green Room (Greenhouse I think it's actually called) could at least come up with something plausible.

I've never seen Rhino say anything about the CC Bears except for very general comments...

Unless the likes of Dwyer and Schirnack play out of their skin next season and push for rep honours and Heighno's form drops and he wants out, I find it highly implausible that he will be heading down to the village to play for the Raiders before his contract is up.

I don't question your support of the team or the players especially Heigno…Most of the time it's a gee up......I actually listen and take on board your critique of Heighington's form in 2009 and for the most part I think your right....

Thing is I see it a little different....his injuries played a part.....but I think the job he was asked to do by Sheens took it's toll....Eliis got Benji's favoured side in attack and defence...allowed to get wider whereas Heighno was tighter in both attack and defence taking the ugly hit up and defending the ruck.....

Hopefully with the recruitment so far for 2010....Heghno will be able to get wider and as simon says.... we will see him return to his 05/07 form..where he was touted for Origin selection

Imagine....Hit ups by Galloway, Gibbs and Cayless then wide to Benji/Eillis on the left or Moltzen/Heighno on the right....wooot wooot.....
