Chris Lawrence to feature on Member exclusive Legends Pin

Wests Tigers Members and fans have until the end of November to secure the second edition of the exclusive Wests Tigers legends lapel pin series — with Life Member Chris Lawrence announced as the club legend for the 2022 Membership Legends Pin.

Members who have renewed or signed up for the 2022 season by the end of the month will automatically receive the lapel pin, with a new pin to be introduced every year as a collection item for long-serving Wests Tigers Members.



“It’s really special to be considered for the Legends Lapel Pin, being at one club my whole career it’s humbling to be honoured like this," Lawrence said.

“It has been great to hear Members recount their experiences of games that I was a part of, such as my debut."

I hadn't joined as a member in a few years, not living in Sydney and having a large family I don't get to any home games, but last year the Robbie pin was enough to make me join as an out-of-towner just to get the pin.

Truth be told, the Chrissy pin will probably be enough incentive for me to get the membership this year as well. I think the pins are a great idea.

And surely next year HAS to be Benji..

I just had a look on Google, and was surprised to see Skandalis, Mark O'Neill and Galea were all with us in 2000. Trent Robinson too.

Personally I hope Pat Richards, Brett Hodgson and Scotty Prince get pins one day.

That's right he did. And I was there that day at Campbelltown, Caine got all our other points in the draw with the Broncos. I had clear forgotten.

It was a while ago though.

I think that moment should probably be enough to get him a pin at some point, and that is forgetting everything else he did and continues to do for the club.
