Chris Lawrence

He was our best player…his energy was awesome and his hands which have let him down lately were top rate...but dont let facts get in the way...he was obviously shito=house..

Fair assessment.

Has lost confidence in his decision making but he has a red hot go putting his body on the line. Same cant be said for Lulia.

Looks like an Anthony Watmough type backrower to me.

He was really good. You see what you want to see.

13 runs for 112 metres, 1 try assist, 1 line break assist, 3 tackle breaks, 2 offloads, 1 error, 1 missed tackle and he actually looks to be getting some speed back and even later in the game started bumping guys off. Hope isn't lost yet for Chris. There is no fluency between him and Brooks though. So often the pass goes out in front or behind. When/if they can work out their combination it'll make a lot of difference to our attack.

We are playing to flat . Lawrence can't handle a crash ball these days . I'd rather play razzle dazzle sheens style footy . At least we'd look like scoring some decent points

Much better; I havent given up on him. Of course there was the trade mark unforced error - the wild pass. But otherwise pretty good.

He's got to move to the pack. He hits the ball up well and runs decent enough lines. I'd be shifting him to the pack immediately.
He's basically playing like a backrower at the moment anyways, might as well make it official.

I personally agree, and I think he'd be the best backrower at the club too. The only problem is we have entirely one other centre on the books right now with NRL experience and he's barely a first grader. If Seve had have had a full season and continued carving up, and Simona stayed on the park I reckon we'd have had them starting centres next year and Lawrence to the pack but not now with Seve being out most of the year.

Fully agree. He was the best second row forward on the paddock last night. His running through the ruck put all the other forwards to shame.

Into the pack young Lawrence!!
