Christchurch Shootings

I just don’t get the how any person can even think of doing something so heinous to other humans just because of their religious beliefs, let alone carry out this disgusting act.
Thoughts are with those wonderful people in NZ who are now suffering.
Pray that there are no more tragedies like this again, and that there are no revenge attacks on more innocent people.

Yeah you are probably right

But I wonder how that explanation would go down with the families of the victims

I'm sorry but cases like this just should demand the recall of capital punishment

Killing unarmed women , children and men totally unprovoked …...

Sorry life in prison doesn't cut it

That is why it is not their responsibility to decide the punishment

No it doesn't but nothing you can do will cut it. Put him in a box and let him stay there.

Surprise surprise, the perpetrator praised Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon’s white nationalism. If you’re still that deluded to believe the man is not a divisive racist, that’s your prerogative. But don’t insult my intelligence by telling me white supremacists aren’t emboldened by him. This isn’t the first time someone has gone crazy and noted Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon as inspiration.

Had a read through this guy's manifesto…......... he's a full on white nationalist and isolationist...............sounds oddly familiar......

The terrorist also told people to subscribe to Pewdiepie, he had peoples names & events on the guns & ammo, like Vienna 1689, Alexandre Bissonnette, Bohemund I of Antioch, Gaston IV, Charlemagne, Charles Martel, Skanderberg; he cited Candace Owens as inspiration…I don't see the point of your post and find it ironically divisive in itself - unless I'm missing some sort of point? no disrespect intended @GNR4LIFE

It’s unbelievable that some one, let alone a organised group of people living in our part of the world, would do such a senseless thing.
My wife and I are currently travelling through parts of Morroco and Arab states and this sure has left a very bad taste to being an Australian tourist in this region,
But nothing compared to what some of those families directly impacted by this tragedy are going through.
A sad day for us all.

Devestating and I feel for the families and the people killed and hurt. I have no care or thought for the terrorist scum who did this and I hope they rot in a cell forever.

These people were just going about their day like could happen anywhere so sad and disgusting

Thoughts and prayers are with you all and your loved ones a very sad

I guess the one thing I see as being common in all of those examples including Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon is the lack of acceptance of others. Make America great again is a slogan that could be translated as “make others worse than us”.

What many people fail to realise is that the world is getting smaller and smaller and boarders are a myth.

If you see your neighbour hungry are you going to ignore it? If you see someone fall over in the street do you laugh and walk past them? Sad reality is that many do. When I was kid growing up riding on public transport I was tought to give my seat to ladies and the elderly. A lesson in respect but not just respect a lesson in being aware of others and helping those less able than you. Now days many people place their bags on seats, put their earphones on and have no consideration for others.

You may think what does this have to do with the terrorist acts that are committed like yesterday or in France or even the shooting of Curtis Chang. These a perpetrated by people who are lead to believe that their ideals and ways are more important than anyone else’s.

Shame more people don’t Truely believe in humanity.

I'm talking from a range of standpoints. I don't expect that Islamist groups will take kindly to what happened, and the Kiwis will probably have a good hard look at their response to it.

The one thing to come out of this will be the increased likelihood of a terror attack in Australia. So thanks for that chump.

I don't disagree with you…
except for this part - it can be argued:

Crazy world we live in people.
keep safe & love 1 another.

My entire post can be argued. But imo any notion of being greater than others is going to result in others being worse off.

Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon wants to build a wall to keep Mexicans out, he refers to them as rapist and criminals. America was founded on the murder and rape of Indians and Mexicans. Many of the lower paying jobs in America are filled by Mexicans. Majority of the Mexicans that go to America do so on the hope of having a better life and future for their children. Which is no different to what i want for me and my family.

What Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon should be saying as the so called leader of the free world, is let’s make the world great again, but while there are boarders/nationalists and religion it’s not going to be possible sadly. Because these concepts are about division not unity.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was no retaliation and that all religions looked at this act as a wake up call and said what kind of hate whirlpool have we created? I know I sound so naive.

What part of my post do you find divisive? Is anything I said untrue? The guy did praise Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon as inspiration. Kind of disturbing considering he’s the POTUS I would have thought.

Well when foreign politics are relevant to the incident, you have to expect they will be brought into it.
