So according to today's Sydney Morning Herald we stuffed up the Ciraldo signing by leaking prematurely to the media and dumping Hartigan, or at least the way he was dumped, and basically telling Ciraldo he had full control - not something he wanted as a rookie coach. Our leadership leaves a lot to be desired as far as professionalism goes.

Your kidding ….. He is a joke If that’s the crap excuse he gives for not coming.
And you area joke for jumping on his bandwagon and thrashing the club over that piece of media garbage.

What brilliant recruitment strategy would you have implemented to get Ciraldo here? And he could fail to deliver …. who are the easy targets to aim at?

They endlessly bashed the Tigers for years having no ability to pull top signings and blamed Hartigan for being inept at his job. Some knob on 360, take your pick, most likely Kent or Buzz would carry on about Hartigan not even bothering to follow up on anything. Nek minut he was vital to be at the club to get Ciraldo. Like im reading an article published on CNN Fake news.

I love the way they report their own previous comments/opinions as facts. Proper “journalism” alright.

We just need to start winning, that’ll get them off our backs. Although even then I’m sure they’ll start questioning why Benji should take over from Sheens if we are winning…

It would not surprise me if Benji and Robbie are plotting another coup d’etat. Trouble is the trajectory of the ladder can’t go down any further.

Yeah I had a similar takeaway from it. You’re the big dog and should want the full responsibility that comes with it I’m my opinion. Wonder what Ciraldo will do when he hits tough times, because they will come. Barrett 2.0?

Like seriously, I’m a bit over the plethora of WT stuffed up X articles. I’m sure we get a lot of stuff wrong but I’m sure we’re not alone. Whoever leaked is a pretty average person. If it’s CC it says something about his integrity and character. If it was Gus, I’m not surprised. Guy acts like he’s single handedly keeping the game alive whilst white anting anyone and anything that gets in his road.

Gus Gould needs a reality check.

I suspect this article is more about helping CC win the game then any tactical blunder by the WT.
Heck look at who we recruited in 2022/2023 with our side coming last. I can't fault the WT recruitment department (ok maybe I can once I know what's wrong with Bateman, but not just yet).

We've made plenty of mistakes, we're not the only club that has tho.
Ultimate goal for a season should be a premiership yeh?
So not making the finals and having a crack at the GF is a failure.
What's pascoes record? What's Lee's record?
We hear about these articles because the management is a joke.
I'm not defending the journalists, can't stand most of them, but to defend anyone in Tigers management is ridiculous.
Let's just send Harry another bag of Best and Less jumpers while we're at it.
