I was a little surprised that only Woodies was selected (although we do have a lot of Kiwi, Fijian, Samoan and Tongan players) but no Aust reps: I am sure Teddy would of been there if fit.
No Fulton:
No Galloway:
No Lawrence:
No Richards:
Though 1 or more of these boys would of been there or even Austin.

That idiot Fittler said about a month ago on the Sunday Footy Show that Fulton would be one of the first blokes chosen

Is this the same player who has struggled to play two games this year? Are you really surprised he wasnt picked?

No

No that's my point ST

Criteria - You have to have naked photos of Bob Fulton or Laurie Daley and you have to at least play for Manly or the Roosters or some out of form team…......Jamie Buhrer (puhlease), Jorge Taufua, Darcy Lussick etc. Shaun Fensom can't even crack the 17, the modern day Gillmesiter Nigel Plum can't get a gig, and they wonder why us NSW can't beat Qld.

I just turned off the City/Country game as I was sick and tired of hearing about Newcastle players from Johns (how are they travelling?) and Penrith players from Gould. What a group wank.

LOL…you missed a great game with a thrilling finish....try the mute button next time

All I care about is that NO ONE got injured from that useless game, makes you think if it's rigged because the last 2 years have been draws with last second trys at the end could it be rigged for people out in the country to see>

Stats dont show his dropped balls, silly penalty and lazy covering defence that lead to a try…he was busy but I thought he had an average game

He was average but still managed to get through a ton of work. I didn't notice him give away any penalties though and the only error that could be attributed to him was from a shocking pass that went about a metre behind him. I would give him part blame for the first Mead try as he showed no urgency at all to get there.

Personally I don't think he's the right fit for Origin football. He is a gun most weeks when the referees blow a thousand penalties, overpolice the ruck and ten metre line and the defensive line speed is slow but Origin won't suit him. Too fast. They'll meet him before the advantage line which doesn't suit the way he gets through the line.

He'll get picked though.

Yeah there was one I think lying in the ruck…these games its hard for forwards to shine I think fafitas stats were better than woods but he played even worse

Backs took the limelight in this game today, Mead, Idris, Moylan J Reynolds Gordon

I thought he was pretty ordinary and I wouldn't pick him for SOO. He needs to improve and start having an impact if he wants to turn into a gun prop. I also think he looks slower and less agile than last year.

yeah very average.

Woods seems like a player who will thrive in club football but goes missing in rep games. (same with J.W. Hargreaves). Last year's Origin showed that he wasn't ready and put in some below average performances. He just doesn't have that aggression/impact - just IMO!

He'll needed keefy by his side… Woods looked a different player today compared to what we've seen from him this year... Played well within himself
