Closing in on the first team of the year

A number of teams are named, my productivity levels are low waiting for ours!

God, if it is this hard waiting for the team to be announced on Tuesday, how bad is it going to be waiting for kick-off next Monday???

I think the team named will be all in all fairly conservative and no surprises…eg- similar to starting line up of last trial with maybe bench changes and would love to see A. Woods fit.

I'd love to see Teddy at fullback and maybe a left field inclusion etc but I guess we have to have a starting point and hope we all rip in together. It will likely take a few weeks to see what Potter has in store and how/what tweaks he makes each round.

It's exciting times though and we are ever so close to another year of footy.

Given the two squads he went into the trials with, I doubt we'd see any left field inclusions - the only debutant I could see given a crack would be Buchanan. The decision on who misses out between Pettybourne, Thompson, Fulton & BMM is the only unknown for me.

The only 2 points of conjecture are right edge back rower, and the bench.
The long shot inclusion may be someone on the wing at the expense of Utai

We have to see footy thursday night;
Then go back to work;
Have footy on friday, saturday and sunday;
Then go back to work;
Then see the mighty Tigers!!!!!

these are my comments on the team the first thing i noticed when i read the team is that aaron woods is 19th man which means he will be alright by round 2-3 and i also noticed that we will get push back so much in this game with a back row of anasta,fulton,blair. and jack buchanan is making hes debut
