Just heard on Channel 9 sports news that WT are going to be having a club review - whatever that is and this segment was accompanied by a shot of Sheens saying "well if they want me to go, I'll go" - one can only hope 😛ray:

Bummer, different story in context. For a moment there I thought the club might have had the guts to actually axe him! :laughing: I should've known better.
 
Why don't they send out emails to all members and ask them 3 simple questions.

1/ Why do you think this year panned out the way it did?

2/ What changes would you like to see?

3/ Would you like to renew your membership?

If they can't learn from these 3 questions, they'll never learn.

I also heard that the club review will include everyone including Leeds and McDonnell, and all other support staff

Apparently Brian Hider, Andrew Leeds and Warren McDonnell could all be shown the door. I have no problem with this, but I'd be punting whoever looks after defence first, and I'd be looking to employ a general kicking coach during the off-season.
 
Seriously, Brian Hider….reminds me of Frazier Cranes old man minus his little dog, Eddie

Im sure hes a nice bloke, does a fair job,....but shouldnt he be towing a caravan up to Forster or summet?

Showing them the door and going in a new direction is all good and well, but bringing back a failed assitent coach in Royce needs rp be questioned.

So I see the club has already earmarked the scapegoats for sheens' complete incompetence.
Re-arranging deckchairs isn;t going to help.

Thankfully we have Royce Simmons returning next season to help tighten our defence :brick:
 
Great news! We are getting rid of the people responsible for a dismal season. Get these culprits out ASAP. Good on ya Humpty. How about Skando? Is he up to scratch?

Sheens is the one who should go
 
They have a review every year, what a joke. Humpty should also be flicked.I hope the board have the balls to flick both of them

I can understand Mcdonnell cause he's the recruitment manager. But how on earth is Leeds or Hider responsible :crazy , unless these guys were running out and giving there own messages instead of Sheensys ones.
 
My bet is they will punt Georgalis & Sign Simmons & then go on about how much they have learnt from the review & emphasise Sheens's statement that lack of depth cost us & hide the fact that we had plenty of depth but Sheens has continued not to give players a chance & continued to select players out of position. Look at the players who left the club & been given a chance elsewhere.
 
We've clearly had a very disappointing year but I 've got to say I'm glad this forum isn't running the club.
Scanning the posts and threads reveals everyone is down to be sacked.

Fast forwarding to the Wests Tigers changing sheds for Round 1 , 2013 and we find a dusty linament free wasteland, a scattering of tumbleweed and not a bloody soul left in sight.

Something about very young people and bath water comes to mind
 
:laughing: Review….what, like a university review. Heard a medical review at uni was called "Don't stand so colostomy", any good names for this one?

Mmmm ok I can sort of see McDonnell if we think recruitment is bad (but Sheens has final say anyway) but Leeds? Ppplease he is the physio…. Talk about sacrificial lambs..... Typical typical
