Cmon the Cowboys

you are wrong guns n roses…that would have been given a try 9 times out of 10.

Disgraceful yet again.

Knock ons like that are ruled at least once a game where the ball looks to be drifting backwards, yet is called a knock on. Perfect example was Justin Hodges last week when he knocked a ball on that was clearly going backwards. Those calls aren't out of the ordinary, its just the time and who they were playing against magnified it.

lol…..tin foil in short supply in some households I'm guessing

Referee's have been getting it wrong since 1908 ,...It's not a conspiracy just inept

The cows were hard done by with the usual inept decisions IMO .
They don't have Tin foil up north mate , they use lead flashing !!

And we know for a fact we have had some corrupt ones since 1908

Darcy Lawler ring a bell ??

Hayne gets far too many calls wrong to continually get named for the No 1 game time and time again

Don't see too many complaints about the blatant forward pass that lead to Gavin Coopers try. The poor old Cowboys got duded with that call too.

And this all proves that the referees , no matter how many we stick on the field still get it wrong

But the more refs we have the more they can influence a game

Here's a question though

They can find a thousand angles to look at the SBW try , but then can only find two angles to look at the Feldt no try and one of those angles must be 40 metres away at least

I still couldn't tell whether his fingers were touching or not touching

The angle which would of been best to look at it wasn't even used ( in goal that is on the far sideline running parallel , surely it would of been facing the action ??

This is my whole point , it is too easy to contrive a result if you really want to

Before I'm accused of being part of the tin foil brigade again , the Cowboys blew it when they refused on the two occasions to take the point on offer

Is it also any coincidence that the Cowboys are also the smallest TV watching market ??

Yep. A coincidence. Fedlt was clearly a no try. He knocked it on. SBW had hands and arms all round him so deserved a few looks. Lui's was a knock on. Hit his arm and travelled forward. Simples!

The Thurston no try from the Lui knock on at the end would have been given a Try if it was against the Tigers ..100% guaranteed !

As Braith Anasta would remember Roosters always seem to get up with a field goal in tight semi-finals.

Bet if the score was 30 to 18 or any score where the game wasn't in the balance a try would have be given 99 times out of 100

Was hoping for the Cows to win

Next week it's a game of the salary cap rorters and two teams I hate and dispise, hope Penrith go all the way

You are right; there was a forward pass in the lead up to that try. And that was the only thing I saw that went the Cow's way in the second half - and I saw plenty that went the other way. Shocking rip off of the Cows tonight with so many decisions wrongly going against them.

Haha yeah.

Maybe if they didnt give the chooks 30 start, theyd be cheering now

Love how people know certain things for certain…."that would be a try blah blah if my aunt was my nephew...."

That's it in a nutshell. Don't give 30 start!!! that's where the game was lost. Had the score been 30 - 6 I doubt too many people would have a problem with it being called a knock on. I believe 9 out of 10 times in any game that would be called knock on. If it was only 5 mins into the game it would be a non issue.

Massive kudos to JT for holding his tongue when he was clearly very emotional straight after the game. It would have been disgraceful if he had let rip and been fined in such circumstances.

To the Cowboys credit, the only conspiracy calls are coming from the public and the media. Paul Green handled himself well during the presser saying they can't continue to make excuses, they need to be better then what they were. And while the comeback was incredible, they were still down 30-0 in a final. If they hadn't gotten off to such an awful start they would have won.

The Roosters showed how good they were last night. Not many teams would concede a 30 point lead and right the ship the way they did and have the composure to finish the game off. Most would have crumbled. Here's hoping they continue on next week and dispose of the Souffs chokers. Then the week after, hopefully the Pennies get over the top of the Roosters.
