big issue is Benji bringing in his footy mates , both Heighno and hodge need to go , Our defence and attack is rubbish , Benji selections also can’t work out , Latu should have played today or at least started to see how he went madden on the bench , but Latu just can’t get a crack , why I just don’t know ,

The club have made a decision to play a style which is off the cuff and relies on talent, offloads and fast play. They recruited players to play this way however, since the Canberra game the backups can’t do it.

The reality is the way we play will rely on limited injuries and an infusion of more talent. We have gone boring and conservative and can’t beat an egg. If we played aggressive it would have been 20-0 in the first 15 minutes.

We have never learned you need systems like panthers and storm where reserves can come in and do a job. It’s more than coaching it’s the team’s philosophy.

Plenty of former head coaches doing time as assistants and we choose completely untested coaches who just happen to be Benji's mates. Heigno, Hodgson, Richards are exactly what we don't need.

Too much expectation from a champion “off the cuff” player. You can’t coach that so he doesn’t really know what else to do.
No effective attacking patterns,two weeks in a row we have had dominant figures in the 22, but scored 6 and 10 points respectively. And this has been a problem for a long time.
Nothing will happen between now and season end so we can only hope that the embarrassment tonight motivates them over the coming weeks.

That knee jerk reaction to give Benji a contract extention is looking more and more like the usual HBG half witted brain dead decision we are all so used to.We are cursed by having cretins as undeserving owners.

The NRL is like any other business, people are judged on results. Iam talking board room, coaches, players, medical staff, and who ever. You can’t keep looking for excuses, we need accountability.

I think our current problem is a combination of a lot of things and yes Benji is part of it, but I think the joint needs a massive shake up right across the organisation and a massive increase in funding. Today should be a massive wake up call, but we have had plenty in the past and nothing is ever done.

We have got rid of coaches with more experience who have not turned this club around, so how much rope do we give him. Or do we call the bluff of the players who will leave if he was gone

I think there's too much butthurt tonight and not enough calm thinking, but it is painful to have Benji start to turn a corner, then it all falls apart midseason, same as every other season.

I don't have the answer but lots of coaches have achieved the same fate at Benji 2026.

To busy counting his cash , same if Benji gets booted he be counting for ages , we are now stuck with him , what the club needs to do is say sack the assistants or we will but we will bring in who we want if you don’t , start Monday , clean it out , I would dump attack now , first up Monday and bring in either Cronk or A Johns for the rest of the year couple full days a week min , 16 hours per week rest of year

Benji is the Laurie Daley of coaches. While we should be eternally grateful that he delivered this pathetic club a premiership as a player, he is tarnishing his legacy by continuing as a coach. He turns crap players into pathetic ones. He has no game plans and cannot motivate his players, relying instead on individual brilliance from his playmakers.

The nicest thing I can say about Benji is he's not the worst coach in our history - that accoldarde goes to Terry Lamb. But if he sees out his contract, he could eclipse Lamb.
