Ben Gardner would be great but I think that ship has sailed. I was surprised his name hadn't been mentioned in recent years about the next coaches.
He'll be the Bears coach and as challenging as that job will be it would be easier than coaching the tigers.

No politics..no bros club..they will finish ahead of us next year from a standing start

Forget Doueihi, what the hell is he doing with Roberts?

In 2 games he has more highlights than 99% of our side. Great line break vs Manly and great try vs Raiders. Definite stuff to work on but higher ceiling than majority of our pack. Mind boggling that a team who has struggled would drop a bright spark for tried and tested guys like Mason and Murray who have shown nothing.

I actually thought for a second there Roberts could be a small answer to some of our forward issues.

I can’t get my head around the fact he wanted both Douehi & Luai in the team last week to nurture Andrews and yet this week Javon don’t even have a bench spot

If the club was proactive with its comms to members & fans, it would pre-record a video with coach Benji to go out with the team list to provide a simple explanation for selections. It's not hard without giving away game day strategy.

For example, "We've been really impressed with Jared (Haywood) the past few weeks. Now we're going to send him back to Cup for a few weeks to manage his load as a young player, both physically & mentally."

Also picking Mason, Sukkar, Hope. Players who are not the best options in their positions.
