Coach Benji 👑

Failed coaches - set up to fail.
They’ve signed Benji for 5 years presumably on big money, it’ll be very interesting to see what support they put around him this off-season and how much they back his decisions. Particularly interested in who plays 7 in 2027, and what ramifications that has.

I think you should probably replace 'interesting' and 'interested' with disappointing and disappointed

That press conference was one of the worst have ever seen.

We are the worst team in the comp once you take the 1st 7 or so games away and by a massive margin.

It’s Benji squad, his coaching structure, his defensive and attacking structures.
They are all terrible.

Mix that with lack of team first players which is supported and well zero chance of winning much anytime soon whilst Benji is leading the club on the park into more years of not playing finals

But it’s all cool, we are all people and have families so everyone is ok with what’s going on.

its not cool .Shout it from the roof tops

I am not defending Benji but I think he deserves 2027 with hopefully a full strength side of KPP, Averillo, Latu, Javon, Taylan May etc. The squad are obviously playing with what should be season ending injuries Bula, Api.

Dinasour Brad!..next!
As opposed to new age Benji?

Arthur lasted 10 years at Parra, finished with a positive win rate, 5 finals appearances and a grand final. All amongst the dysfunction at Parramatta.

Currently has Leeds sitting top of the ladder in the Super League. Barely a dinosaur, that's a poor take.

He's better than what we've got and Benji has proven it's too big a job for a rookie.

The problem Benji does not learn from his mistakes, we still can't run straight and hard, general kicking is poor, pass selection at times resembles under 13's, this is on Benji and his staff.

We may not get the wooden spoon but we will get the table spoon

For a long time I avoided judging Benji. But when you have players who are good going backwards and becoming ordinary, that's on the coach. He's like an anti-Bellamy.

If there's no change in coach or assistants, the only way Tigers will avoid the spoon next year is if Perth's recruitment stalls.
