Coaching Insider

I’m trying to decide if Marshall was really going to rest Galvin before or after all the brouhaha ? Sort of sounds like something being sold to appease the fans.
And another thing, I heard Johnston say South’s are coming together as a team after a horror start. Training’s fun etc.
That is the second time today I’ve heard that , on TV today I saw an interview with Shane Flanagan who( I think) said that the year the Sharks won the comp they lost their first 5 games and then won 16 in a row.
He said they came together as a team and that made all the difference. He didn’t coach them any differently. So I guess success comes from within the group !
I’m not exactly sure how that happens but I know it’s not been happening for us recently, nor the previous several years.
Would love to know if there is a magic formula ?
Not exactly true they went pretty much win / loss until they started their streak.
The year before they lost their first 4 games before going on a run of doubles and triples.
I’m not sure what year he was talking about as the results don’t match the statement.

I’m a bit confused N, are you referring to Johnston or Flanagan.?

Coz I quoted them both “verbatim”, it wasn’t something I made up !

Chasing an outcome which you’ve chosen for yourself is totally different from someone else doing the goal setting for you.
In 2005 Tigers lost 7 of their first 12 games.
