Combined Polynesian Team

Guys,

What do you think about the idea of having a combined Polynesian team playing one off Tests against Australia and New Zealand.

It could be similar to the British and Irish Lions in Rugby Union.
There is a big Polynesian following in League and I think it would create interest.

The players could wear there Country's socks, similar to the Barbarians in Union.
The Jerseys could incorporate the colours of Tonga, Samoa, Fiji.

Good idea or not….

Great idea , but they all have their separate cultures and someone mentioned this when I floated this idea previously Liddy

But if we could pick all the players and not pick them for Australia you' have one helluva team

Yep, Sue in for Ashton Sims I reckon. I'd also maybe put Simona ahead of Inu in the centres, as he is in far better form at the moment. Guess I'm a tad biased though :wink:

Good Teams there boys…

I'd probably have Semi Radradra for Waqa and Jessie Sue for Tariq Simms.

Also, I'm not too sure about Fuifui, I think he's getting past it.

Otherwise, I reckon that Team would beat NZ and give the Aussies a run for their money......

They all lack a couple of good halves. The forwards and the outside backs could match it withthe best but the halves are horrible.

Can't even see a future half that could spark up these teams.
