Coming of age of the man and the team?

Does anyone else think that Farah's performance last night might be the coming of age of the man and his team?

Over the past 3yrs we have had the talent and been in a position to win the comp (despite a horrid run of injuries and bad luck ie. roosters and warriors losses) but have lacked the grit and determination and 'smarts' to take that extra step. Robbie showed last night he has what it takes.

God willing this year we will take a battle hardened team into the finals. No rookies, no passengers, no excuses.

If he keeps that same level of maturity and tenacity into club games, we are true challengers to Melbourne.

We need Robbie and Benji to fire at the same time plus plenty more to happen if we are to give the comp a good shake this year.

i still can't believe all the years the core has played together, they have not achieved consistency. i mean not just for 8-9 games, consistency for the whole season. you hardly see elite players making dumb plays like that, and now that benji and farah are both 28.. they haven't got much years left.

i dont wanna turn this into another sheens thread, but idk if it's the players' fault that they don't learn from the mistakes or someone else's.

just my opinion though and as a fan of not just tigers, but RL i wanna see these two combine like smith/cronk/slater.

There's the problem right there in trying to fit two into three. Someone else needs to step up (Molten we hope) to emulate Smith/Cronk/Slater.

We can win this year. I really think these next two games against struggling teams like the Roosters and Knights will be a clear indication of where this team is heading.

If we can beat these two and head into the bye with nine wins on the trot it makes that week off perfect for fine tuning and building a semi final run.
