CONFIRMED Comings & Goings AS of 14/10/09

 Benny Ellis just said on 2SM , that Lima & Lote are 95% signed with the Wests Tigers.."Jeff going home to finish the Job"

You have to love Benny…..spilling the beans again....never tell him a secret  got

he's on the board at the Tigers isn't he? It's a good chance that he would know.
I'm taking both as a done deal.

What is it with the Daniel Fitzhenry critics?

He was very good 1st grade "WINGER" and he found his way across the stripe in the Grand Final win.

Yes he was a poor 5/8 but when he was on the wing he was VGood.

Like other comments he may be a good back-up hooker but he will add to the Tigers depth (IMO).

please fitzy makes beau ryan look like israel falou, there is noway in hell he should get a FG game next year unless

tuquiri
ryan
lawry
tuiaki
moltzen
ayshford
daniela

I seriously think this is a gee up?

Surely we can't be signing him again?

Fitzy has been offered a 1 year deal as reported in RLW magazine a couple of weeks ago.

I remember Fitzhenry as a very ordinary 1st grade winger who was vulnerable defensively, with a reasonably high error rate..?
Admittedly he postioned himself well in attack & knew how to finish off a try scoring movement created by others, but struggled to evade one on one defenders.
Must be one of the few ex Tigers to have not succeeded in UK,which says it all

fitzhenry does seem like a waste of money IMO, his time at the tigers has passsed.
Apart from that the signings for next year are stacking up nicely.

if they signed him and he's good enough then by all means play him in first grade. otherwise he's a backup or depth if you like sprinkled heavily with experience. i say good luck to him. Skando came back better.

Is it just me or does the name Fitzhenry give flashbacks of his run a few years back against the Bulldogs were he got cruched by SBW?

Squad depth, a vital key to a team's success in the season and I think in the season just finished that we lacked in that department.

With the addition of Fitzhenry, he has experience and in big games too. I'm thinking he'll be playing in the state side or that he'll be there in FG until Tuiaki is ready again. It wouldn't be right to throw in an inexperienced kid into the side as it is a gamble. Well…this is too but there is no doubting when he is in form, he does quite ok! Lets just hope that when he does play we see less of those infamous 'doughnut' runs....

fWo has returned!

Welcome back Liam too, I thought he was good player at the Tigs and even though I hear otherwise of his stint at Huddersfield I will give him the benefit of the doubt....

Roll on to the other signings

I think it was Daley? in 2005 that said a team with Fitzy in it could not win the comp

Yeah but when is big nose ever right???

yeah Daley - Captain Obvious.

I remember in one match he was commentating on we had a try scoed against us.

He said "Tim Sheens will be dissapointed the Tigers let that try in".

Interesting, I don't think there has ever been a coach all that happy about conceeding a try!
