Went thru the regular season undefeated 9/0….equal top of the ladder with Souths also undefeated

Averaging 30 points for and only 10 against....they look to have had a terrific season.

Best of luck for the finals.
 
That's great news. Hopefully they can go all the way and it should be interesting seeing this group of youngsters develop over the next few years.
 
Does the souths talent pool only come from local area or do they have an alliance with another area or school?

Mattraville sports High produces a lot of players….but most I guess are from Souths district clubs, kids from other districts would trial no doubt over summer, if selected in rep squads I think they have to play in the district...
 
Very well done. Walked into Belmore for the second half of their SG Ball match and that was brutal.

Very happy to hear our next batch of juniors is progressing well from the 16's though
 
Wests Matts side are a good team but let me tell you guys, they had a preferred draw for most of their 9 games..
Also souths Harold matts side is phenomenal, they arE a football team for sure! They will win the Harold matts comp

They had no say in who they played and you can only beat who's put in front of you. Focus on the positive not the soft draw. Best of luck young Magpies in the semis!!

That's all well and good I'm just saying despite their efforts souths are the team to beat.. Their defense against the bulldogs yesturday tho was very strong

Other than Souths, who else do you believe they were lucky to avoid?

Well they avoided Penrith (although they play them this week), but they got to play norths, Melbourne, Canberra and SWSAS. And central coast aren't strong either.. That's 5 gift games minus having to play Penrith or souths..
Don't get me wrong I hope they do well, their defense against the bulldogs yesturday was exceptional and got them the win 8-6, they defended a lot on their line second half.. Just saying when they come up against the top sides it will be different story. Happy to be wrong I hope I am. Also I'm not sure if they played Newcastle.. They're a top side too

They only played 1 team in the top 8 over their 9 games and they only won by 2 pts… That's all I'm saying.. Sorry to annoy anyone and I'm normally not so negative, just as I have watched them several times this season as well as many of the matts sides, just saying they were gifted an undefeated status by playing 8 teams below them. Good luck to the mighty maggies would love them to give it a shake

Balmain had the same status last year mayny may argue.

As long as the Magpies get it done in the finals that is all history remembers

Good luck to the young blokes hope they do well regardless of who they have and haven't played, to get to the very top a bit of luck is needed most times even at NRL level.
