Congrats to Blair and Tapau

Hmmm I smell a bit of an ambush. NZ nowhere near as good a side as they could have trotted out but the Australian side reeks of complacency here. Some seriously woeful selections from Sheens.

How the hell did they not pick JWH? Bunch of idiots.

I was thinking the same thing! Especially considering the amount of players already unavailable through injury :crazy

I'm pretty sure Kenny-Dowell wasn't named and neither were a few other options. Blokes probably put their hands up to miss out though there is talk players weren't picked for alleged mixed drug combinations in the end of season test series.

they said JWH's form was not good. he's been in the top 5 props for 2 years.

as for SKD.. nz has a plethora of outside back- i wouldnt be surprised if a few top notch players miss out tbh

Totally disagree Mac

Aussies will well and truly cover the start , no matter what it is

Blair was brilliant and Tapau was good for the limited time he got.

Australia's best player was Hiku… got them home.

i reckon blair was MoM.. might be a little too bias though.

He was great in defense, however I thought Bromwich in attack kept them Going forward.

Both Blair abd taupau can be very proud of their performances.

Blair had about 5 last man try savers…

Bromwich for mine was MOM - never stopped. Blair's defence was brilliant, but I reckon he only made 1 hitup in the first 15 minutes of the game. Solid display none the less. And Taupau was … well, Taupau. Terrific energy when he comes on.

Marty should've gotten more minutes. He was noticeably busy and added punch when he came on. Blair's just getting better with each outing. Brilliant defensive effort from him, Not sure what they gave Sam Moa when he went off injured but he came back and played like it was his last ever game.

J.Bromwich's footwork was great.

PL

Thought Blair was great for NZ but Bromwich was there best… him and Moa went hard all game... Kearney would be very proud of his pack. NZ lacked a 5/8... really missed Foran or now Benji...

If sheens was fair dinkum others should of got axed instead just Fifita and Papali... our bench had little impact.
Cronk is past it... why would u have the games best halfback on the bench for 70mins then play him at hooker...
Tamou..... i really don't know what he offers more then other props in the game....
I was critical of Slater but he was back to his best last night.

Last nights game showed why Sheenius doesn't have an NRL gig…he still supports the tactic of having a back sit on the bench for 70 minutes doing nothing then plays him out of position...old school thinking....

Blair and Kapow were excellent last night...well done boys!..Gavet wouldn't made the Kiwi team had he not been injured

Far be it for me to support Sheens.

Rep jumpers are a reward, anf theyre yours for a short time. Cronk really has dont nothing to lose his, and DCE has more than earnt his…such is the class of the Aussies you could say they beat NZ last night in a test match with 16 players

Its totally different to doing the same thing in an NRL game

The Kangaroos actuall won last night, came from behind, this squad has set a consecutive winning record, 16 straigght tests - I guess you missed that

Of course I knew that… any follower of Rugby league, like you and I, knew that....what I didn't miss is your sarcasm which is both unwarranted nor welcome..

Yep the WT boys went great last night. Blair is in great form at the moment and Tapau never looked out of place in his rep debut - well done! Bromwich, Moa and young Harris were good also - Moa was a like a runaway steam train! lol

Not sure who I would've given MOM to - JT got it once again, but I think there were better. Sometimes I think they overlook the great work of some 'lesser' players in the team just so they can give it to the big name play makers all the time, which is a bit unfair, imo.
