Jonathan Thurston has taken his 2nd golden boot award in 3 years for his efforts during the World Cup, his high involvement in SOO 2013 and the Telstra Premiership where he again steered the cows to the semis. Only the third player to win it twice.

A champion footballer

At one stage I thought he would become one of my most hated footballers with his petulant behaviour on field but he has become one of the nicest blokes both on and off field
