Congratulations Cameron Smith on 300 Games

Engaged in some unsavoury practices regarding the salary cap, but you cannot take away from him his ability on the pitch. He's a very good player and no club would turn down his services.

'Unsavoury practices' you call it CB, I would describe it as knowingly cheating. Not a bad player and any team would jump at the chance to have him on their books…..especially if he is again willing to sign 2 contracts. 300 games cannot be discounted but neither can being recognized as fraudulent scum. Love the bloke like a brother.

Yeah he signed two contracts. He cheated. So did half his team mates. So did the Bulldogs in 2002… Joey Johns was a drug addict, Gallen and half the Sharks squad from a few years back are drug cheats, Wicks dealt drugs, Lui bashes pregnant women and Packer nearly bashed a bloke to death. The game is full of blokes who have no idea how to behave like a civil human being. If you took all those blokes out of the game, there'd be no one left to play it.

Or maybe, just maybe, they're just as normal as everyone else and it reveals the uncomfortable fact that they're just like us and a lot of people will do what it takes to get what they can in life.

If you think Cam Smith is the worst or most morally bankrupt player in the game for signing two contracts, you've got a pretty warped view of the world.

This thread is about Cameron achieving 300 NRL games. Take your sad agenda of hate elsewhere.

I doubt we will see a better hooker in the next generation or 2

That says a lot in the modern game

Don't read it if it bothers you so much Stroker. The question was should Smiths 60 or so games as part of an organisation that was pood on by the NRL for cheating count towards his records? Probably not. Andrew Johns a 'drug addict' you say?! Could I suggest you stop watching soapies on the telly, leave the dramatic overblown drama to them.

I'm pretty certain that while the Melbourne Storm were stripped of their premierships, all individual honours remained.

So to answer your question, and if the NRL are stating he has played 300 games, obviously they do count.

No debate will change that!

Exactly. The fact he was caught up in a salary cap scandal does not take away the fact he has played 300 games of top level. When you consider he has also played 36 origins and 42 tests it is some achievement.

Its personal for Fade to Black. It has to be. No one could be that hung up over someone whose never directly affected them. Sure, dislike players, but he just takes it to another level.
