Can’t get excited about Origin this year. It used to be the ‘best of the best’; now, since we have been toweled up by the Kiwis, it is the ‘best of the rest’. Hope Woods and Farah stay healthy.

Well deserved to both players, hopefully they're both integral to NSW holding the trophy again.
Origin is over-hyped, commercial BS. Seriously, seriously….does anyone care who wins the thing?
In the great scheme of things how is anyone's day-to-day existence affected by the outcome?
I am pleased for Aaron that his great form over 2015 has been recognised by his selection. On the otherhand, how Robbie is there is a complete mystery to me. Is he the most effective NSW SOO-eligible hooker in 2015?? Huh.....no way!!!!!
I would be more positive in my impression of SOO if it was genuinely an avenue for those in form and contributing significantly to their club team's success to be picked to reap the (supposed) glory and (real) financial benefits.
But, no ..... it's the same mob picked again, in both sides, and the same tired old faces trotted out to pretend that genuine effort is rewarded at this level. It isn't. Instead, its cringeing, sycophantic rubbish dished out by media and NRL to try and justify this interruption to the premiership.
It's nothing more than that. An avenue for NRL to cash in on the hooray-Henrys of the world who would turn up to the opening of an envelope if someone told them it was an "event".
How many of the week in, week out fans who part with their hard earnt dollars to support their team will be at this thing? Very, very few I imagine.
But, congrats to Aaron and Robbie..... for what its worth in my world view.

All the players are coming into their prime and they have racked up enough games together to find consistency. I for one am very excited that the Australia team have been given a run for their money.
