Constant Player Movement Rumours

It is becoming a bit over the top with the number of rumours floating around about WT players being signed up elsewhere. I certainly hope that management have kept the player staff in the loop as to what is actually going on. This might help any further desatbilising of our season. i think its time Humphreys put out a release to the fans as to what is actually going on - are players being shopped around? is Blair coming or not? who is going and when? these rumours need to be addressed.

We have to wait until things are secured before announcing anything.

Need I remind everyone about the press conference the Sharks called for Snowden this season?

I understand that Smeg but it would be nice if we knew that anoouncements that were made about players staying are in fact still the case or are the rumours true - this is what i would like management to address - either knock it on the head now or watch another season go down the gurgler.

U mean like Fifita set to join the Sharks next year?

i do not want to see fifita go just to make way for adam blair, gibbs i wouldnt mind seeing him leave but fifita has so much potential & along with aaron woods & ben murdoch masila they are the foundations of an awesome forward pack in years to come…

Well its now obvious what has been bugging the players & its getting way out of hand.
I am Humphries biggest fan I think he has done an awesome job since coming on board but it seems like he has really de-railed our season this year.
Its disappointing that Fifita looks like going & the rumors surrounding Gibbs & Fulton & now with all these speculation surrounding Moltzen,Lui & Heighno it has really let itself get out of hand but at the end of the day they are only players & players come & go.I really don't see this being the problem.

I think the issue here is the renegging on contracts that has distabilised the squad & it all stems to the salary cap fine which was only $1870000 & surely the retirement of Payton has sorted that out.Its all been handled really badly & it seems Humphries & Sheens dont know how to get out of the mess they have created.

its nrl it happens to every club sit back and enjoy all the rumours.Theres more and more evry year

Why has it been handled bad by humphreys or the club.

I tell you whats bad the idris titans saga. You cant stop players that want to shop themselves around maybe this is the problem with having 2 clubs with so mnay juniors coming through you cant keep them all.

Yes it is unsettling. But maybe some fresh faces are whats needed though. We need a world class Blair to replace world class Ellis who i think will head home after 2012.

I agree "that Club will need "to wait until things are secured before announcing anything".

We just need to to be bit patient and wait for trades to be finalised. One thing is for sure WE NEED NEW BLOOD AND APPROACH IN OUR FORWARD PACK TO LAY THE RIGHT PLATFORM FOR OUR BACKS AND PLAY-MAKERS TO OPERATE EFFECTIVELY. :deadhorse:

And not to mention ALL the players who took a pay cut and are now getting SHAFTED by the club. The club brought un-stability upon itself.

How would you all feel if you took a pay cut from your employer to ensure the company survived hard times(out of loyalty) and then got punted in return??

Let's get real here CT, certain players were being paid overs from Noycie's time here. Humphrey's pulled their payments into line. They players had it good while Noyce was here. Now we've got a real CEO.

Who took a pay cut? and we wouldnt be the first club to do it.

how does a club feel when they buy a player he plays well to get a pay increase then the player gets injured and cant play….its happens

Your completely unrespectful disdain for noyce is laughable. The only bloke to get us a premiership with us spending a million dollars under our salary cap.Humphreys is good but a lot of wests tigers success now is through noyces efforts and successes. You need to learn some respect.

So it wasnt the players or sheens coaching. It was noyce take your magpie hat off mania its to obvious.

He left us and said he was concentrating on business ventures then jumped ship and went to easts.

Noyce had nothing to do with us getting a premiership. That was the efforts of the players and the coach.

I dont mind Noycie but he seems to have left a few landmines behind when he departed.

EDIT: Beat me to it tiger4ever.

Funny when people get on their high horse and dribble about things they know nothing about. They base their theories on how the club works from their own opinions, and not the truth. I don't even bother anymore, i just sit back and laugh…

P.S. It is under Pixie's watch that WT was fined for a salary cap breach just recently, nothing to do with Noyce.
WT are also $1m over the cap for next year. But yeah i guess this is Noycie's fault too..

P.P.S. Players weren't taking the cuts forced by the CEO. They did it for their team mates and loyalty to the club...

Clues?
