Controversial corner

Farah didn't knock it on from dummy half that one time. Other than that, we got all the calls. A few of the penalties they got were terrible, and I actually thought that Utai grounded that first one.

They (Pamfers) were stepping off the mark all night and never got penalised. We did it once and we got caught. The refs were shocking both ways I thought, but Ill have to watch the recording because when you're at the ground you miss heaps.

You play what's in front of you.
The ref's did that and wests-tigers were awarded a try.
We can go over each game with much scrutiny and find things that are right and wrong.
.
As stated previously, it would appear that a bit of luck is coming wests-tigers way.

would be nice if it continues thru to and including finals games. 😛ray:

Definitely a knock on, but we were ok n the wrong end of some calls to. Farah's knock on, refs not going upstairs to check utai's first try. At least the ref's are consistant in dudding both teams

We have had some great calls this season from the refs. Makes up for all the dud ones from 2006-2009 we seemed to cop in the close games. These sorts of small details can make a big difference in how your overall season is determined.

Yes it was a knock on, but i thought Utais first try was a try, could be wrong but was our first penalty in the second half ?.

Knock back. The issue is the trajectory of the ball off his hands and it went back. Good call.

BTW, remember a few seasons ago Matt Utai, playing for the Bulldogs, knocked on in the in-goal, then picked up the ball and the dogs went the length of the field and scored? Karma I guess.

No it was not. It was not propelled towards the opponent’s goal line. I was knocked straight down. Half of the knock-ons called these days are not knock-ons. At times it is almost like the refs are refereeing touch football in that anytine that ball is dropped regardless of which way it is propelled is call a knock-on. One of my bug bears, hate it.
