McQueen and Lawrence prob won’t be here in 2021

Lawrence needs to retire. He has had a good run and moved from a interesting Center to an average forward. Chris, we love you and it was good to see a loyal clubman. It's time though to retire on a high.

McQueen is in a very different boat. He hasn't performed or played in quite awhile. I believe he could end up like Ben Ross, someone who has played at that top level, had a serious injury and needed to take 3 years in the wilderness (sadly on our money).

McGuire will know if McQueen should be retained. The interesting bit is how our forwards have changed, we have sacked a great worker in Matterson and hired bigger units. We needed more impact but as we saw against Newcastle our defense wasn't there, which may be a sign of our work rate dropping. McQueen, if he returned to past form could step into that spot.

Rowdy is going to retire - what, you can't wait until the end of the season?

Matterson was a knight in shining armour for us until he turned into a DOG!
He effectively sacked himself.

With McQueen - you are joking of course - these days he is just a sponge - soaking up our dough and filling a spot in the 30 that we need for someone that can and will contribute.

McQueen was signed and then almost got a career ending injury ....you can't blame him for hanging on ......

I've been in my job for near 25 years ...almost half my life and I admit I can't do physically what I did then ....should I walk away as well

Can't blame McQueen for hanging on, but it will be great once he's off our books. Nothing against the bloke whatsoever but what a total waste of money he has turned out to be.

I am a McQueen fan, but I agree.

The thing that gets me about McQueen (as well as packer) is i look at what we are paying these guys and the output we receive back. In McQueen/Packer, we get someone who doesnt play first grade for 450-650k, then there are guys at other clubs on less than 300k who are dominating in these positions etc, or guys who are playing rep footy on equivilant money.

Reynolds, Mbye, ET, Nofo, despite playing first grade, the same can probably be said for.

Has someone hacked your account?

I think he’s got a fair point...

Is a very non-biased and reasonable spot to hold in such a discussion, what is your point?

Sorry it was a bad attempt at a joke, McQueen Magic has always sung McQueen's praises. Nothing wrong with their post.

OH! The humour valve definitely wasn’t turned on this morning hahah, no need to apologise at allg . For mine there’s only been one or two occasions worth signing his praises since being here but of course to each their own. Would love another Dwyer to come through right about now
