Seems to have taken his game to a new level this year with some amazing off loads in tackles, seemed to be one dimensional when he was playing for us, i know he was injured most of the time though, any thoughts???
 
That's because Sheens wanted him to be a one dimensional prop.

Definitely has a new lease on life at the Dogs, he suits their style a lot more.

It's a never ending occurance round these parts,
Corey always had the goods...
Remember he was out for most of last year as well!!
He's coming back strong!! GOOD ON HIM!!
He'll ramp it up... He's just getting going!!

Yeah you would of thought with Sheens empathasis on skills with his forwards that Corey Payne would of fit in perfectly here . Good to see he is kicking on though

He has played well in all six games.

The point is that he looks like a much better player than when he was at the Tigers. This is a fair assessment in my opinion.

Squared up? Turn it up Demps… He headbutted the bloke while he was waiting for him to play the ball... The ponce couldn't even use his fists. I like his empty threat in the Terrorgraph today: "He's lucky I had the ball in my hand..."

Or what princess? He probably would have slapped him instead of headbutting him.

I only wish Payne landed a few more on the little cat and took him down another peg or five.

I do agree, its funny to watch how a player when coming up for contract re-newal seem to go really well.

Well he punched Ben T'eo in the face so he is alright by me….

Seemed to remember him playing quite a few games at lock in his last year with us...

Naah, no where near a head butt.
Was just getting in his face and then stupid Corey Payne started air swinging.
Hayne isn't a coward at all, he shaped right up & Corey answered with some ridiculous lamb chop punches.
I reckon Corey Payne is a big girl and if it came down to it Hayne would eat his lunch.
 
Corey is a great bloke in person.

Played out of position much like Harrison at the Tigers.

Massive brownie points for dropping Teo.
 
Gotta agree with Demps that he was just trying to get in his face - but it 's not the smartest way to do it.
If you want to see some real headbutting take a trip back to the 60's and 70's.
