Anyone else see this in the email from the club

It remains the intention of the NRL to ensure, as far as possible, that all 25 rounds of the 2020 season are played together with a finals series culminating in a Grand Final. This may mean an extension of the season well beyond the usual finishing date and Wests Tigers fully support the NRL in the taking of such a decision.

Surely the league will pull there head out of the sand soon and realise that this is not going to happen

Bugger, so staff have been stood down until the 1st of May

So that's 5 rounds, right up until the Magic Round, which they may see if they can still do.

It's all still so surreal, hard to believe it's happening

Rugby league at the elite level will survive this, i am not anywhere near as confident at the junior level unfortunately.Most junior clubs run on a shoestring budget at the best of times and an extended break could send them to the wall.
I hope i am wrong about the grassroots game

He is in complete disarray

No more seeing or Listening to Bwaith
No more running the books for last man standing
He has run out of toilet paper and started using paper towels

Now he has no paper towels left
He has no idea how he is going to clean up his spilt fruit loops in the morning
He hasn't slept well lately as the batteries in his Cd player went flat and there is none at the shops so he can't listen to "I will survive"
I have attached a picture of what Geo is likely to look like in the morning
But it's ok
Life goes on for us all
We just need to adhere to the social rules set out by the government

West’s Ashfield has an enormous property portfolio , there probably one of the few leagues clubs that will whether this storm ... whether that translates into keeping the Weststigers afloat that’s another matter ! But the club at Ashfield will survive .

Good to hear. Sounds like the only risk for Wests Ashfield would be cash flow, but hopefully they have some reserves to keep them going while the enforced closure is in place.

Obviously Fox does not know how much prime inner West real estate in Ashfield that the West’s group own. Is the 60mill for the block of land next door ..that the old club was on ? I do not mind if the club asks for help they are getting our 2k membership our way of helping !

For one of the very few occasions cash in hand is probably more important than assetts.It is only when you try to liquidate assets that you find their true worth In what is going to be a difficult period people may not get the value they expect(face value), i would hate to be selling anything at the moment, panic selling for well below nominal value is a possibility especially if the crisis gets worse.
lets hope for a positive outcome because most people lose in a fire sale
