I had my first AZ jab today

I had my AZ jab mid-day Thursday and have had zero side effects.

That is good, the only real side effect i had was that i was tired for 36 hours and had loss od appetite

I wish i could lose more than a few kilos mate.

To tell the truth JT, I could afford to lose 10-15 kilos :disappointed: .
Although, a few weeks back I had a dose of food poisoning from eating something I shouldn't have, then spewed and pood for about 8 hours with a loss of appetite and lost 4 kilos.

Lab leak no longer being dismissed as conspiracy theory.

No longer being dismissed as conspiracy....***by the mainstream media/left of politics*** and @Earl.

For many with an actual scientific background, it never was.

Interesting to see Fauci admit in interviews today that he has it as a live option. He has said the opposite many times in the past.

But then again, he was the one who was responsible for the US ban on gain of function research being overturned and the US govt money pouring back into Wuhan in the first place so I would expect him to point away from Wuhan.

https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CHRG-112shrg75273/html/CHRG-112shrg75273.htm

For me, the most frightening thing is not that this virus probably originated in a lab (as scary as that is). The most frightening thing is the realisation that the leading global "Authorities" will simply lie and spread misinformation for their own political purposes and the realisation that they cant be trusted and may actually be harming us is truly terrifying.

Whatever mate. No one ever thought that it couldn't be a lab leak. Lab leaks have happened previously. There is also no proof that it was a lab leak.

You and others like you are politicizing this issue into an anti China issue. Some people like myself know that in the past we've never been able to find the source of previous epidemics/pandemics and if we have found the source it has taken a long time. This is not unusual.

If you want to have an argument about China and it's policies you'll get very little kick back from me. This isn't about that though. This is about the use of facts and science rather than propagating political agendas which is all you are doing. The posturing against mainstream and leftist politics gives your agenda away. I'm not a fool and I don't buy that nonsense.

Outbreaks can occur via labs. Labs should be extremely careful in the work that they do. China has absolute scum leadership.

None of that means that you have any proof at all that this came from a lab.

***You and others like you are politicizing this issue*** into an anti China issue.

Two questions for you Earl.

Firstly, what have I said, EVER that even implies an anti china issue? Seriously. I havent. I dont think it is an Anti China issue. If you actually read my posts I have been critical of US people and entities as well as WHO. WHO, Fauci, Peter Daszak have been disgraceful, have been misleading, have massive conflicts of interests and have pushed harmful agendas. I dont think I have said anything anti China.

Secondly....who are "people like me"?

Some people like myself know that in the past we've never been able to find the source of previous epidemics/pandemics and if we have found the source it has taken a long time. This is not unusual.

No you were using the examples of SARS1 which the source was found VERY quickly, by the same BSL4 WIV lab that is hypothetically the source of SARS2.

If you want to have an argument about China and it's policies you'll get very little kick back from me. This isn't about that though. This is about the use of facts and science rather than propagating political agendas.

***EXACTLY*** which has been my whole point all along. Actual facts and science point to the Lab, clearly. Political agendas (WHO, Fauci, Dems) have deflected away from the lab.

And again Ive not argued about China.

I'm not going to buy into this until you have some proof and even then I don't really care. Outbreaks can occur via labs. Labs should be extremely careful in the work that they do. China has absolute scum leadership.

Exactly the reason the US banned gain of function research, and then overturned this ban after lobbying by Fauci.

None of that means that you have any proof at all that this came from a lab.

Never claimed any.

@Tiger5150 - I'm not interested in politicizing the COVID outbreak. I don't care what you state because you are obsessed with COVID being a leak from a lab. Maybe it was and maybe it wasn't. The point is that you have no proof and you keep harping on and on about it.

You can have your political views without any facts or you can choose to go with facts. I'll go with the facts thanks.

They should postpone or cancel the Olympics for this year.

I am sure that it will be even though the "spirit of Avery Brundage" still seems to be strong in the Olympic movement.

My views to do with Covid are totally apolitical, that is the whole point of my posts, that access to the truth should not be based on politics.

Serious question. What do you think has been the reason that the lab leak hypothesis has been suppressed up until now and is now starting to be reported in the mainstream?

Got my second Pfizer shot this arvo. 6 hours after and so far I feel alright. Hopefully I get a good night sleep and wake up feeling ok - had a few friends who had nasty fevers the day after.

1st jab this afternoon. So far no issues.

I felt crap a few hours afterwards but settled down with food and panadol. Second Pfizer shot on the 25th. Friends who have had that one got a bit crook for a couple of days.

I’ve heard the 2nd of the Pfizer can come with a bit of a kick. Have to wait 12 weeks for my 2nd AstraZeneca.

Kindly keep us posted how things go.

Headache for the two days after. Night sweats the night after. Just Panadol needed.

Thanks champion @mike - was it discomfort or more serious?

Just discomfort, nothing serious. Panadol managed the headache.

Thanks for the info champion @mike - hope you stay chilled.

All good. Very chilled.

Are you still chilled champion @mike

Yep chilled as. Drove up and back to Magic Round, from Sydney - no problems whatsoever.

Aren't plane tickets like $80 and quicker lol

I like to drive. It’s a very easy drive now with dual lanes pretty much all the way. Put the car in auto and point it north and you are pretty much done.

What kinda car u got

Toyota Aurion Sportivo

Good car for a long drive like that ?

Great car. 3.5ltr engine. Plenty of room inside. Reasonable sound system and connectivity.

Nearly got my last Camry with the 3.5L, couldn't justify the extra cost this time around but.

Worst drivers on the road are Camry drivers ..
Once Volvo started making decent cars the Volvo brigade turned to Camry’s ?
Do you have a knitted blanket and a box of tissues in the back window ?

Rode motorbikes a long time ago and just out of habit still look out for Valiants and Volvos.
