Cowboy Shannon Gallant

Good Luck to him and Im sure he knows were he stands in the pecking order.

I doubt Williams will remain infront of him for long.

The Game these days is very hard for little guys - There ae exceptions like Hodgo athough even the great man was found lacking on occasions.

The Cashman was a fringe first grader here and they turned him into a star. I think Gallant will get plenty of game time, due to Bowen missing a lot of games, and being out of form.

Star? Thats taking it a bit far but yes Cashy did get a good run by the Cows. However, a lot of others havent. The fact that Ty Williams has been picked ahead of him isnt a good sign. As soon as Bowen is fit he will play, form or no form, dont kid yourself otherwise. Also, with Grant Rovelli in their squad and given that he will be coming back from injury, Bowen wont be shifted to 5/8th.

Well he went from getting a couple of games of the bench here to being a well performed starting prop every week.

As for Bowen you are right, there has been patches over the last couple of years where his game has been nothing short of poor, but he'll never ever be demoted for anyone.

Seems Gallant has missed out to Ty Williams for the fullback spot Round 1.

I'm surprised…

Ty Williams has been playingtop footy in the trails along with Grant Rovelli. So coach Henery has Williams at 1 and Rovelli at 5/8 for round 1 against the Broncos.I thought I read where Shannon Gallant was to play Q'ld Cup with the Mackay Cutters (Cowboy feeder team) hope I've misread this though.Hopefully Shannon can get his chance, as I'm sure he will,in NRL for the Cowboys, its a long season, as we all know.
