Showing some of the biggest 6's ever

One bloke who doesn't get a mention much was Lance Cairns from NZ ..he didn't always hit them ..but when he did ...

His son Chris went alright as well.

But his old man was honest, Chris not so much.

Kohli is the Cammy of cricket..flog..

Warner is a bigger flog

Candace or Dave?

Either

Agreed but I've got Candace in front as the bigger flog.

Yeah true ...No English players are flogs ....then again I can't think of any English players

So what does the forum think? Should batters be able to switch hit? As an old bowler I’d send the bastards out without a bat but that’s just me!!😂

Should be banned ...
It’s just not cricket .

For my 2 cents worth ..... the bowler should be more cunning and bawke at bowling if he does it too often. It’s a real hockey shot that I don’t think should be in the game tbh

A bowler would have to be ambidextrous to do this, but it would be the equivalent of a bowler getting to the crease and bowling with his other hand.

I'm OK with it. Provided when you switch hit, the legside LBW rule becomes null and void so if a ball drifts and catches you on the pads in front pitching outside what is now leg you can still be given out if the line of the delivery shows it's hitting the pegs.

I say if you are good enough to reset your position and still pull off a shot no problem.

Bowlers deceive with swing, spin, pace, I don't see why batsmen can't improvise as well. And this is from someone who believes bowlers get dudded heavily in the shorter formats now and generally oppose changes to make the game easier for batsmen.

What makes it unfair that is if a bowler is ambidextrous he has to nominate how he is going to bowl ...left or right arm

And secondly they have to nominate whether they are going over or coming around the wicket

Can you imagine the reaction if Mitchell Starc could veer off and bowl around or over ...batsmen would freak out lol

Bowlers get dudded too often CB ...if you want to allow batsmen to face up RH and hit LH ..let's even it up ...uncovered pitches maybe ..bring back sticky's

I'm just sick of the fact bowlers are basically bowling machines now

Nah just make it easier for bowlers as well...remove the sightscreens and see how batsmen feel about that lol
