IMHO - This is the worst incident in international cricket .
The underarm was just plain STUPID . NZ no 11 batter would have required a 6 off the last ball at the MCG ! When there were no ropes and you had to clear the actual fence and if this could be done it would have only tied the game . Still bad and embarrassing
The Mankad which I think is Bad although you could argue the batter trying to take unfair advantage . Still tasteless
This Mathews time out ? No advantage was attempted .The Bangladesh captain could have simply withdrawn the appeal ! Shocking sportsmanship
I don’t see why people have a problem with Mankad? The batsman is absolutely taking an advantage every ball by leaving his crease during a moment in the game where the bowler is in the middle of his bowling action and no one else can keep the batsman in check, and they are doing it so they don’t get run out when they go for a tight run. That is an unfair advantage.IMHO - This is the worst incident in international cricket .

I don't have a problem with a Mankad, especially if the bowler has warned the non-striker.IMHO - This is the worst incident in international cricket .

At the non strikers end too, that’s rough. But ya know what, the ball is the fielding side’s possession so don’t touch it unless it’s with ya bat. Stupid as.I don't have a problem with a Mankad, especially if the bowler has warned the non-striker.
I reckon the worst sportsmanship I have seen was when Andrew Hilditch was given out handled the ball against Pakistan - the bowler Sarfraz appealed.
You can see it here:
Agree. Today the batsman checks with the fielding team before he picks it up.At the non strikers end too, that’s rough. But ya know what, the ball is the fielding side’s possession so don’t touch it unless it’s with ya bat. Stupid as.
Don’t agree shocking sportsmanship from the captain! Pathetic really, his helmet strap was broken, he wouldn’t have known that till he got out there. Ganguly took 6 minutes to front up to bat they appealed but then withdrew it! Smart move!I don’t see why people have a problem with Mankad? Mankad away I say.
The underarm I thought was unnecessary and I probably wouldn’t have done it, but what a great mind to even think of it, and it’s that kind of person I want in the trenches with me.
Now last nights time out was probably a little rough as his helmet strap seemed to break at the crease. But how feckn stupid is Mathews, it is his responsibility and no one else’s to make sure he and his gear is ready to play at the 2 min mark simple as that. He was also facing a spinner he could have faced up and sorted it out at the end of the over. Stupidity deserves to be timed out. If the fielding team is running late they get penalised why shouldn’t the batting side when they are late.
I know who’d id rather have in the trenches with me, Shakib not Mathews coz he’d be soon dead from stupidity and unpreparedness. Anyway the umpire should’ve said no it’s a safety issue and let him change his helmet. Bcoz it’s a game not war as Shakib was saying.
The enemy will always be on the menu when they turn up late with faulty equipment?Don’t agree shocking sportsmanship from the captain! You rather be in the trenches with that Bangladeshi captain not me, run out of food guess who’s in the menu????
They all died from syphilis related complications. What happened to the age of Aquarius
Yeah it’s a pet hate of mine, leave the ball for the fielding side and when ever a batsmen asked me I said no and would pick it up myself bcoz I was taught as a batsman don’t touch the ball.Agree. Today the batsman checks with the fielding team before he picks it up.
