They have been average for a while now, but they got knocked out by Ireland I think it was, in the also ran comp for the last couple of WC spots.
I remember reading a few years back how all the different islands were arguing about control at board level and how Basketball dollars and being so close to the USA was tempting the youths away from cricket and they were loosing that next generation. Nothing has been done to rectify either issue and now the just produce a few T20 guns for hire. It’s a real shame bcoz I grew up with them being the pinnacle.

So sad. They were the pinnacle. And still are in our memories. Pity it didn't work off the field. Thank You BT. Much appreciated brother.

Not these days, but I’ve been living, or dying, depending on your mental outlook, with a shortened timeframe for almost 12 months and I was able to joke about it the next day, my Mrs does say that I am more resilient than most and should be careful what I joke about and where. I can joke about my own shortened time frame then I guess I forget some might not find the darker jokes so funny, so no offence intended please don’t get to cut up about it hey.

And there can be no darkness without light. Wouldn't work.

No, not cut up about it but it was a terrible thing and I know it played on Abbott's mind for a long time afterwards. Mate, I'm terribly sorry to hear that you are dealing with a serious medical situation. I hope you have some hope for remission but I do admire you if you can face it with a sense of humour. God bless you.

I was given 18 months last December, if I was older they would’ve let me die, but bcoz I’m a little younger than 70 odd they gave chemo and an operation a crack.
I’ve had the Whipple op and now they reckon 3-5 years of living. Woo Hoo!
Gotta have regular scans till dead.
Good and bad shit happens all the time in life, if you need to get angry, do it and get over it fast, then laugh and roll with it.
I can say dying this fast does suck a little when ya teams coming last and they are talking a five year plan.
See still joking around.
Anyway more importantly the cricket is on.
