Yeah I seen some kind of doco not long back saying they played the first official game of cricket. It’s a shame it didn’t stick.
Also seen something about Lords was just some bloke who’s last name was Lord and they played cricket on his land and I think it was the third game they played where the oval is now.
Aust put into bat by Oman on a difficult wicket slow, low and turning Head 12 of 9 typical live and die by the sword .Capt Marsh very rusty Warner a bit rusty but held innings together Maxxy out 1st ball to a screamer of a catch .However in comes Stoinis and turns game on its head with 65 odd runs at 200 strike rate Warner 56 off 51 was critical also. At the mid point we looked in trouble 80 off 14 overs and 84 off last 6 overs

Oman 9/125 .Mostly bowled ok .Some ground fielding a bit scratchy but some late arrivals for example Starc had 65 hours of total travel time to get there. Little practise and should improve
Stoinis a runaway man of the match 67 runs incl 5 or 6 clearing the fence and he bowls 3 overs for 3 wickets . A bit to work on for the team but clearly got the job done

Usa have a couple of very good bowlers but one of their Batsman Aaron Jones a small statue guy of West Indian heritage would make most teams .He's a genuine star
Former Kiwi Corey Anderson is handy as well .Not surprised they beat Pakistan and no I don't think result was fixed

One thing with 20/20 cricket is that the shorter the format the more likely that anyone can beat anyone on their day
Test ricket this is not possible a minnow cannot possibly win over 5 days
50 over cricket its also unlikely for a minnow to get up all the ODI world cups semis and finals are just mainstay nations
But with T20 every man and his dog are playing it and all you need is to have a few bad overs and anyone can win
Would love Aussies to win this one again to have complete set of all the silverware
The good thing about Aussies is there always seems to be someone stand up and win the game and its usually a different one each time
