Hazo - 52.2I have always thought Starc is one of our all time greatest
His longevity and fitness levels are elite
My GOAT of Aussie bowlers is and has always been Lillee
His 355 wickets in 70 tests not counting his supertests is great
Interesting Starc 402 wickets in 100 tests is amazing .100 Tests is a long time for someone bowling 145 kph
Note Starc s Strike rate is wicket every 47.5 balls vs Lillee 52.2 balls but DK is still my no 1
Special note Scott Boland 62 wickets in 14 tests has by far the best Strike Rate of any Australian Bowler with 50 or more wickets EVER ! that is 36 balls
Hey BF you don't realise it at the time but I was commenting on an event that is of historic proportions .I wonder how many times during future tests that commentators will make reference to the events of this day .A hat trick ! That's gets overshadowed by a first over 3-0 and an eventual 6-9 with the not out batsmen Azzari being dropped twice off Starcs bowling .Hazo - 52.2
McG- 51.9
I love Starcy’s first spell, always have, he’s a first over specialist, it’s what gets me up at 4am.
I had Skull at a construction trade show as entertainment, giving a talk on old cricket stuff, he’s funny, a good storyteller.Hey BF you don't realise it at the time but I was commenting on an event that is of historic proportions .I wonder how many times during future tests that commentators will make reference to the events of this day .A hat trick ! Looking forward to the Ashes and I hope they have "skull " and Ian Smith involved in commentary
Fame paysI had Skull at a construction trade show as entertainment, giving a talk on old cricket stuff, he’s funny, a good storyteller.
But he was shitting bricks before going on and I had to tell him how great he was, and how the boys will love him, (stroke his ego), to get him to go on.
He was Great!!!
I think he cost us 10k for that.
