6000 runs at 43+ is a pretty decent return.Another player who did nothing to warrant going out on his own terms.
I like Khawaja - there’s something mechanical and non-classical in his style that appeals to me for some weird reason.

I would have picked him before Weathers.Matt Renshaw has to be close to getting another crack at test level.
And Head needs to be back batting at 5 where he can be more effectiveMatt Renshaw has to be close to getting another crack at test level.
I listened to a big chunk of the press conference again. Cringe100%.
The bloke has spent roughly the same amount of time sulking and whinging as he has at the crease.
I can’t wait to see the back of the sooking prick.
Our batsmen are the weakest link and have been for many years.I would have picked him before Weathers.
Our selectors are our weakest link.
“Flat track bullies” ?Our batsmen are the weakest link and have been for many years.
They are all giggles and backslaps when the going is good, but none have an ounce of fight in them when the going gets tough.
Flat track bullies, downhill skiers etc, it’s all relevant….they are weak.
Our batsmen are our weak link and have been for years. I have been very consistent in saying this.“Flat track bullies” ?
When do the get flat tracks in the last decade is what everyone is going on about?
And I remember you carrying on like a pork chop at someone (who was correct), for calling one of our batsmen a flat track bully a couple of seasons ago?
We had an opener in good form the past two seasons and neither of them was picked, the selectors are our weakest link.
As I said the other day in a different thread, people just say bs for the hell of it, and a minute later, whatever else to suit their current mood.
Glad it annoyed youBe thankful without them you wouldn't have a reason to keep putting out statistics 😉
🤣😂🤣Our batsmen are our weak link and have been for years. I have been very consistent in saying this.
This is true. It only gets attention when we lose a Test though. Everyone reporting on the batting woes last week like it was something profound was bemusing. The openers are still an issue (Head is a stop gap), Marnus has been playing off his reputation for as long as I can remember, Smith is ageing, and Green is struggling. Outside Head, the best batsmen have been Carey and Starc. Our batsmen are our weak link and have been for years. I have been very consistent in saying this.
Still haven’t named the side?SCG last year we comfortably beat India and series and BG trophy was wide open as we led 2-1 coming to Sydney .
Boland got MOM but must have been a toss up between him and Beau Webster . For this and other reasons would prefer Webster over Green for this test . Green has had ample chances !
Not keen on Weatherald also because he has a huge flaw with head falling over too far outside off .Its not in line with the ball
Did you enjoy Davy’s knock last night?Be thankful without them you wouldn't have a reason to keep putting out statistics 😉
no problem, was looking for that positive post from you about england winning the fourth test, must have missed it amongst some of your other stats offeredGlad it annoyed you
I was out there he killed it, it was good to watchDid you enjoy Davy’s knock last night?
I watched it again this morning for fun.
Ha should’ve pulled out the sandpaper for his bowlers.
