When are other states besides NSW going to start making a decent contribution to the Australian team?
When selectors start picking on form!
Here's an interstate XI (including NSW players in other states) for you that would certainly run some teams close:
S. Marsh
Khawaja
Dunk (wk)
Ferguson
Voges
White
Lynn
M. Marsh
Coulter-Nile
Richardson
Behrendorff
Boyce (12th)
It's a little top heavy, would rely on Mitch Marsh bowling his full quota and having Voges, White and Lynn fill 10 between them, but it's not too bad. Would certainly beat England.

That would be a terrible national team.

How so? Marsh and Khawaja are both infinitely better options than Finch; Dunk has been the form keeper all year (bar Nevill and maybe Handscomb); Ferguson, Voges and White are all experienced international players with proven records; Lynn and Mitch Marsh are two of the biggest hitters on the domestic scene; Coulter-Nile, Boyce and Richardson have already represented Australia and Behrendorff has been the best bowler in all forms all season.
Sure, it's missing an out and out game-changing superstar like a Warner or Smith, but it's a solid, dependable side.
