My good mate work very closely for/with the NRL

He said Farrah, Fulton and others were in at NRL HQ today having a crisis meeting. For what he could gather things were not good at all.

It could be a disastrous sign.

It could also be senior players doing what senior players should do, which is meet and talk about the issues. I would expect nothing less from our captain and most experienced players.

At least it shows signs of unity, no matter what happens at the coach/CEO level I would hope players remain banded together.

NRL HQ could have been chosen for neutral purposes.

I heard on the 2GB rumour box that the meeting tonight is of massive proportion. Rumour box claimed:

- Sheens to be sacked. If not sacked, Farah going to Parra
- Club to pursue Taylor
- Wests Group to take controlling or majority interest in Wests Tigers.

This is just rumour on the radio today. I am merely the messenger so no need to go ballistic, particularly in regard to the last point. Perhaps someone who actually knows more can clarify if these rumours are anywhere near correct.

HOWEVER - as the latest twist in the macabre high drama farce that is already the WT off-season 2012-13 this is a fantastic new turn.
Couldn;t have scripted this operatic theatre any better!

A bit paranoid there MacDougall - i'm an old maggie through and through but it would it would be financial suicide to wipe out the Tigers part of Wests - the brand is established and is huge - Wests group currently put up the majority of money - Wests Ashfield has made its decisions so far looking at whats best for WT and Cambelltown dosen't have the money or the power to change this.
