Cronk = Marshall imo. Also I don't see how signing Cronk is outside the realms of the imagination.

The Storm aren't over the cap and they have Slater, Cronk and Smith. I'd rather Cronk than Dugan.

x 2 Cronk would be a fantastic signing especially when we start bringing through Tedesco and Koroibate . We need a halfback and five eight who can take control with our future youth .

100% right, we need power and impact. People complain about our kicking game, its poor because we have so little yardage in our defensive sets so we are forced to kick defensively from the back half of our territory.

We need a lot more power in the pigs and some real speed out wide. This so called clean out could be a blessing

Until Miller steps in and proves himself we don't have halves. Lui has got to go, so as far as I'm concerned the halfback spot is vacant.
We have finishers in Lote, Lawrence and Ayshford. Getting a fullback would be good but filling the No. 7 jersey with a player of even medium competence should be the top priority. In this sense Cronk would be incredible…but we will never get him.

lui has some defesnive issues but outside of that hes attack is great,hes only 20/21 give him some time

Lui's attack is great…..i dont think so! he ran the ball strongly last night, but has been hopelessy out of form for a 2 months, halfback is our biggest weakness.

Cronk would be great, but unrealistic.

Was at the game on Friday evening and a couple seated in front of me in the Ken Thornett stand were Tigers supporters and I had a brief chat to them from time to time throughout the match.

This guy seemed positive that Cronk was to be our new number 7 as of next season. Obviously I laughed and told him outrageous his claim was :laughing: (If you're reading this mate, you're alright! :wink: )

If we were to have him we'd surely be expecting Schubert to come guns blazing at Concord!

Blair/Cronk/Dugan? Ha! + Benji, Farah, Tuqiri alone would rocket us past our cap! Without a doubt….

maybe he has be reading on this forum about the slater/cronk package deal

I wish people on here would stop talking so much nonsense. We will not get cronk. And with the way we are playing is it any wonder why blair has not signed yet. If we get dugan I will be so surprised.

Cronk would be a very good signing but he will be too expensive and also he has such a good combination with Slater and Smith I doubt he would leave that combination unless (1) he is tempted by massive dollars or (2) Slater or smith move on and break up the combination. In the meantime the person played as WTs half next year could prove a success and then the club wouldn't necessarily need Cronk. If he was available in 2012, wanted a change of club and we had the dollars under the salary cap, then it would be a worthwhile discussion. At the moment it's as possible as the WTs winning the minor premiership this year.

I wish these rumours were true. He has been hopeless this year. I will drive him to Brisbane if I had to. And Mckinnon can get an early release as well.

Yeah agree with you Samuelcon- Lui ran the ball for a change - and when he got in the clear he had a bowl movement as he did not know what to do. Let him go to the highest bidder. We need someone who will put a shoulder into a tackle not just slap someone on the back and also varies their play in attack.

No need to Tiger Watto has already offered to drive Lui up to Langlands Park He will fit in just fine up there especially after another loss on the weekend to the Souths Magpies

Zero chance with Cronk. Absolutely zero.

We have big name players Benji, Farah, Ellis, Tuquiri, Lawrence, Sauce. What makes you think we can fit Blair in (on big bucks) + other superstars (Dugan, Carney, Cronk, etc). Just will not happen.

Most likely is Blair + Reddy + Vidot + upgrade 20s.
