In a Triple M exclusive, we can reveal that a current NRL player has been accused of ripping off members of the public.

The scandal regards the sale of jerseys to fans, with the player allegedly offering jerseys to fans, taking the cash and not passing on the jerseys.

One fan was apparently out of pocket over $1000, with a group of aggrieved fans emerging as the Triple M investigation continues.
>
We understand that the club has been forced to step in to reimburse the fan.
>
The club has not denied the situation, and is in discussions with all parties involved.

When contacted for comment, the club provided the following statement:

“We are aware of the situation, we are in discussions with the player and person concerned. We have no further comment at this stage, until the matter has been resolved.”
