The NRL have brought forward Saturday night's clash between North Queensland Cowboys and Penrith by two hours due to the threat of Cyclone Ului.
The kick-off time for the match has been moved forward from 8.30pm local time to 6.30pm (1930EDT).
The start time was changed following Friday afternoon talks between the NRL, local authorities, the two competing clubs and match broadcaster Fox Sports.
The cyclone has been downgraded to cyclone two and is expected to cross the coast, just north of Townsville near Yeppoon, late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
"We have been advised that the cyclone in the region is not expected to directly impact on the match but it is in the best interests of all involved to play the game as early as possible before the worst of the conditions occur," said NRL chief operating officer Graham Annesley.
"We will continue to monitor the situation with authorities to ensure all safety precautions are taken for players, officials and fans."

A good thing the Tigers werent playing there this round, It would be very hard on the players especially with the match now being played 2 hours earlier.
I wonder if Fox will give us viewers choice now?
And if only they didnt put the 'U' in front of "Lui" :stuck_out_tongue:
