WESTS Tigers will know this morning if they have to look for a new halfback with Tim Moltzen expected to be ruled out for the season. Moltzen had scans on his knee yesterday after limping from the field in Townsville on Saturday night.
Club trainers immediately feared the 21-year-old had suffered a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament strain but are waiting for the results of yesterday's scans before making a final diagnosis.
The Tigers' other halfback, Robert Lui, won't be back before round eight.
