TIGERS coach Tim Sheens might be interested to hear the rumblings about Daine Laurie's recent form at Penrith.

Word from out west is that Laurie has thrown an extended tantrum over the club's decision to bring him back from injury via the NSW Cup.

Spectators at Ringrose Park for a recent game involving Penrith's feeder team, the Windsor Wolves, told us Laurie brushed his teammates on the bench and marched straight into the dressingroom after being hooked just before fulltime. He hasn't played since, citing a hamstring injury.

It's rich behaviour from the ex-Tigers cult hero, who two weeks ago branded Sheens an "idiot" and accused the game's most decorated coach of spreading rumours that he was unhappy at Penrith.

It now seems those rumours have been proven correct.

The DT have an agenda with Sheens because he doesn't often give them the time of day. Rothfield probably put him up to running a story like this, he's a gossip queen.

DT = gutter journalism.

If he does end up playing FG again long enough to play against us, I see him being a LOD clone… He'll be a total psychopath on the field.

Us tigers fans are probably the least surprised about the news. I've got little time for Daine. His attitude stinks to the max. I remember Sheens saying one day that the mental toughness and work ethic are what really makes a player succeed in this game. Talent only gets you so far. Daine's a prototype for that theory.
