Dale Finucane

I love the way a rumour starts on the forum regarding player x, then stacks of people say he was crap anyway when another club signs him. Makes you wonder if there are any good players in the NRL. Some delusional dreamers on here seem to think we have all the good ones anyway.

True or not about the signing- I am surprised by the dislike of him as a player - he average 40 minutes off the bench for the dogs pack making 102 meters and 23 tackles a game - this would make him better then anyone in our backrow last year by a long way

Cmon guys, the rumour was started based around a journo from the Macarthur Chronicle (or whatever its called) called Noah Way. If you say that name out loud it may give you a hint as to the credibility of the rumour of him joining us.

The rumour of him leaving the Dogs is true, the one of him joining us is not. He is built for a club like the storm. Has very good impact. Will kill it down there.

We're not beggars .we have one of the most exciting spines in the game ,some great young forwards.an Australian prop . A kiwi superstar in Taupau ..have some faith in our strength and conditioning coach.we are not that far off the mark with our current squad .why pay overs for average players .

There's positivity, then there's absurdity.

If you're happy with how we're lining up in 2015, with no back rowers and one decent centre, boy you're easy to please.

I am. Name me one second rower or centre who is available that is as good or better than who we have now?

Did'nt Taylor state that we were not signing anyone for next season? Until he or the club says anything different it is a good idea to ignore rumours and especially twitter, facebook etc.

Well Finucane would be better than any back rower we have on our list. Having said that i won't be holding my breath.

I'd have him in a heartbeat - completely wasted at the dogs - needs to be more on the edges, and he'd be a killer.

He is no super star but he is probably the sort of player we need. A no frills strong defensive backrower. I have not looked at our stats, but I do not think we have a backrower on our books who is a 35 tackles a game player week in and week out, and to be able to run impact players off the bench effectively you need a defensive work horse who can play plenty of minutes. Fulton is going to be a massive loss

he is a super player, have watched him over the last 2 years. I thought at one stage we may have got him when we signed Taupau, there was talk that both would come he would be a very good buy, but lets face it he is not coming our way, so lets move on.

We've turned the careers of Taupau, and Austin around in 12 months.

Hopefully Finucane can see that, and make a carefully informed choice.

Sorry, but I'm still trying to figure out how WT enter into the equation with Finucane at all, when the article was all about his possible link with the Storm! Am I missing something here?

There was a tweet from someone claiming a scoop from Noah Way from a local paper that we had signed him for 3 years

Oh that explains it then, thanks BB. Noah Way??? Seriously??? He's probably someone from on here trying to start another 100 page possible signing thread  God give us strength!

EXCLUSIVE: Macarthur journo Noah Way reports Dale Finucane will walk out on the Bulldogs and sign a 3 year deal with the Wests Tigers.

Our strike rate in the rumor department is just above zero!!! I get the feeling player agents start these things and use us as a tool to squeeze that extra dollar out of the club that the player actually wants to sign with.

Anyway bottom line its only a rumor and like all other rumors, do not get excited and treat them with a grain of salt and of course Taylor has already said nothing much will happen before 2017 so sit back and enjoy a bumpy ride

So where is the actual rumour?

The original post names Melbourne only. Yes it says they aren't the only club interested, but where exactly have the Tigers been mentioned?

local cambo rag I think….i dunno i take little notice of this crap

I used to welcome rumours, I found them interesting, but now it's just painful. It has got so boring with basically not one rumour coming to fruition…....it would be funny if it wasn't so annoying.
