INELIGIBILITY

Any Player who is suspended under the NRL Judiciary Code of Procedure is deducted three (3) Dally M Medal points for each week of suspension.

Any player who is suspended from two (2) or more matches in any one season immediately becomes ineligible for the Dally M Awards.

The Voting Process

The selection format for the Dally M Medal utilises 3 points, 2 points and a 1 point voting system.

Interestingly, in 2016, Corey Norman was hot favourite to win the Dally M, before getting a massive suspension for the casino incident. The judges still award ineligible players points.

Pretty sure Latrell missed 2018 centre of the year due to suspension.
