"The NRL's official player-of-the-year awards, the Dally Ms, have been moved to grand final week. NRL head of commercial and marketing Paul Kind confirmed the Dally Ms would be held on the Tuesday night before the grand final"

Most practical time to hold them. The two teams in the grand final usually spend grand final week in Sydney and the players from the 14 other clubs have no excuse to not show up.

I would have Taufua as the winger, but he can't win it cause he was suspended for a couple of weeks (I think its -3 points for every week of suspension, up to 3 or 4 weeks).
