Dally M Predictions.

I use to see the Dally M's as a guide to how good the players form was during the year but when you consider that before our Player Of The Year went behind closed doors Chris Heighington was 9 points clear from Robbie Farah. If you go by the Dally M points Robbie Farah has been our best player this year so far but if you go by the points given by the fans Chris Heighington has had a much better year than Robbie Farah. Who is right in this instance?
 
i was thinking farah must be a good chance

usually gets points when tigers win

and boyd wouldn't have a point in the last 10 rounds IMO
 
i would say it will be between farah/carney and luke behind by only a couple but probably would have won if not for injury

no way…. he was on 10 points when the dally m went behind closed doors.... farah was on 17.. farah got mom against titans and eels, that is 23 points at very least...

I'm expecting Gillett to get it.

I don't take them seriously though, most of the awards are a popularity contest.
 
At least with supposedly impartial judges it's better than the old Rothman's Medal days whenthe ref went 3-2-1.
But it always goes down to the flashy players for these type of awards, at least Andrew Fifita for rookie & Robbie Farah for the Dally M are in winning teams as opposed to Gardner from Cronulla and some neville, fingers crossed.

Rookie of the year: Gillette (the guy is sharp)
Player of the year: Has to be Carney
Coach: Smith

um…fullback: Dugan?

I am sure Farah will get hooker of the year and Benji may be an outside chance for 5/8 considering his form at the start (Wont be surprised if he misses out though) Ellis a must for second row.
