I use to see the Dally M's as a guide to how good the players form was during the year but when you consider that before our Player Of The Year went behind closed doors Chris Heighington was 9 points clear from Robbie Farah. If you go by the Dally M points Robbie Farah has been our best player this year so far but if you go by the points given by the fans Chris Heighington has had a much better year than Robbie Farah. Who is right in this instance?

I agree, Gillett is easily the best rookie this year. They'll probably give it to gardener because it always goes to a back.

At least with supposedly impartial judges it's better than the old Rothman's Medal days whenthe ref went 3-2-1.
But it always goes down to the flashy players for these type of awards, at least Andrew Fifita for rookie & Robbie Farah for the Dally M are in winning teams as opposed to Gardner from Cronulla and some neville, fingers crossed.
