Dane Laurie

Really helped the Tigers win it when he walked off the mark after the Jennings try.

How about that play the ball at the end of the game. Plus like when he was playing at the Tigers - very little game time.

He'll cost them more games than he will win them, as was the case today.
What about his push on farah? he just made a goose of himself

Does sheens ever get it wrong…...teo and tandy have been ok this year but we cant say they havent been replaced with a better option.

Well,Teo played SOO,& much as I hate to admit it he's playing to that standard.
Tandy is a solid 1st grade prop who we should have used extensively over the past few years ,but..
Ive also gotta admit Collis is playing well at the Sharks
But Laurie added nothing to Penrith

Sheens didn't punt Teo. Mr Player-Manager shopped himself around before plonking himself at his dream club. Nothing Sheens could have done about it. Glad to see Tandy going ok but I don't lose sleep about him leaving. Ditto Collis, J Morris, Halatau, Harrison etc etc…

Tandy is really nothing more than an honest toiler, however he should have beed used alot more than he was given our injury toll in previous years.

Te'o wanted to leave and the way he applied himself last year did him no favours. He was not interested.

As much it pains me to see a much loved Tiger leave the club there are only a few examples of former Tigers who have gone on to exceed expectations.
Richard Villasanti & John Carlaw went onto play in a highly sucessful NZ Warriors side, Tyran Smith left to join the Raiders at the height of his career, Kevin McGuinness left for personal reasons to join Manly, how good was it for him.
In recent years we have had a host of players leave the club, some were shown the door while others felt that they had a chance elsewhere, well here's an admission from me that I didn't think I'd make, you can count on one hand the number of ex players from 2007-2009 that you would still want in the club today.
No.1 Scott Prince, for the other 4 I will leave it up to our fellow forum members to decide on, Shannon McDonnell comes to mind, he felt he had a chance elsewhere but could have helped out in our fullback crisis and possibly have supplanted all our contenders, Rhys Hanbury, wowing them at the Crusaders in the ESL, John Morris!.
Think about who the club have released in the last 4 seasons and tell me, were they wrong, I was a big Daine Laurie fan, have we suffered by him leaving the club?.

i really wish hodgson was still with the club, could definitely use his goal kicking cos he's still a superstar in england, the guy will probably play till hes 40 lol. So happy for the guy though.

Daine Laurie plays a real 80's style of football. He runs around like he smokes two packs of Winfield Reds a day. The guy is great for a 2 minute stint, but then he is gassed.

Hanbury was a decent and reliable player when he used to play for us. Hopefully he will come back to the team in a couple of years with the benefit of some ESL experience (Just like Fulton and Fitzy  ).

You think we should have kept Morris and McDonnell??? 😕

Laurie has been nothing but a liability to Penrith…was that his first or second FG game for them? still lacks discipline and still is the most confused lookin guy in the game without football in hand....very glad he is not here.
