Dane Laurie

Cue the puff piece in the Terrorgraph today with Laurie blaming Sheens for sabotaging his performance for allegedly "talking" behind his back in the media.

It's all good though. With Luke O'Donnell leaving for ESL, we could use another bitter ex-player to hand us a couple of games a year.

Dane looked unfit and also lacked match practice. Elliot only put him in the side to try and intimidate the Tigers and it failed.

If Matt Elliot has his time over again, i don't think he would have even dared to have signed the ambiguous Daine Laurie. You can have all the ability and poten tiual in the world as an athlete in any sport or code, but if you lack the focus, attitude and drive to knuckle down and apply yourself to the trade, you become exactly that, a liability. Not only in the short term, but long term as well. Laurie's attitude is one that a Rugby League club and team can ill afford not to have. It's like he perceives he is owed something, when really he is owed nothing.

Fifita, week after week has shown and continues to show that one Daine Laurie has not and will not be missed by Wests Tigers.

Laurie showed he hasn't learnt a thing at Penrith, or changed his attitude. He's still lazy, unfit and a liability in defence. I'm glad we got rid of him.

I think Elliot was the only person in the world who thought naming Daine - and starting him!? - would be a good thing for Penrith.

Daine still has problems with ball control.
carrying it high over his head when tackled, and appears to be a bit erratic at times.

Teo dogged too many games for us to worry about it.

I was very surprised the Panfers coach played Daine as his form did not warrant selection.

It was a grave mistake but handy for us :sign:

Does sheens ever get it wrong…...teo and tandy have been ok this year but we cant say they havent been replaced with a better option.

Teo is better than any backrower we have bar Ellis. He was 18th man for QLD.

Te'o is a complete and utter dud. The only time he breaks the line is when the game is wrapped up and he's bludging in the centres. His defense is weak, his discipline is poor and his attitude is crap.

No way would I have him over Ellis. Heighno, Fulton or even Dwyer.

Lol you rate Te'o above Heighno. Evident why you're still a student.

te'o is a loiterer. so what if he pulls off a couple of shoulder charges and LOCKYER puts him away for a few tries.ellis, rhino, fults all better. not missed at all. the one that has kicked on has been harrison

That's up there with some of the more outrageous quotes made on here. I wouldn't take him over any of the Tigers backrow. Still goes missing and even when he's named in the second row he's more often than not hanging in the centres.

100% correct.

Te'o is a machine if you are up by 28 and facing a defence of swiss cheese. He'll bag you a double and put on a couple of big hits.

If you are down by 10 and struggling to bring it out of your own 20, the guy will be nowhere to be seen.

Most notable memory for me wasn't the Leichhardt game where Heighno gave him a spray, but rather the [edit] *Parra* 2008 game at Homebush where we got lapped. Danny G started prop and did his achilles; Parra were monstering through us. The remaining forwards had a dig but were totally outsized and outclassed. Te'o did nothing, no hitups, nothing. I remember booing his pea-sized heart… Dawn Fraser was sitting next to me, she left early.

Yeh i do. Teo is a lot more explosive, and i think he is really improved over the last year. Heighno is good but nothing more than a toiler.
